Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From early childhood I have always loved to draw and paint. This love quickly developed into a yearning to study art and see where the journey takes me.
I recieved a BFA from the University of Georgia, majoring in Drawing and Painting. After several years of painting and working in art galleries in Atlanta and Denver, I went back to school and got an AAS degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Colorado . Soon after that I worked with a magazine publishing company for several years before eventually breaking out on my own.
In 2006, I started my freelance business, The Art Station, LLC. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work on many different and exciting projects including magazines, books, catalogs and logos. Not only that, but I have met some pretty cool people along the way.
I live near Durango, CO with my wonderful husband and two spoiled dogs. We love to go hiking, skiing, biking and exploring this beautiful part of the country.
Most of all, I love to create. It makes me happy!
